Thank you for this heartfelt comment Beth. Yes, it's so lovely to understand that our dreams are nudging us toward much needed connection and community at this divisive time in the world. I am also finding that not only dreams, but also engaging with dreams in groups, brings a depth of connection with each other and the world that is truly profound. I am writing about this soon -- a group process I've been honing called 'dreamweaving.' Stay tuned...

This was really helpful Leslie... seeing the way dreams reach out - like rootlets in a growing tree - showing us what we (and our collective) needs. Such a beautiful example of the body's knowing...

Thank you Peter. It's something I love about dreams -- they seem to express the body's wisdom in images, skipping the many ways our internal editors and critics can interfere.

Thanks Gracie. I love that you are so attuned to your dreams and their messages to you! It's true that they are a wonderful source of personal and spiritual guidance. More and more, we are discovering how they are also powerfully connective. Dreamweaving has been a revelation to me as well -- though practices like it have been used by traditional, dream-oriented cultures for a very long time.

Oh I loved reading this one Leslie thank you - it lands really intuitively in me too, and is so alive with all kinds that I’ve been processing personally. It is really touching to imagine the care our dreams could be ( I think are ) taking of us and of our communities. In my opinion this re-sewing of connections extends to our relationships with the rest of the natural world too, specific plants, trees, mushrooms, animals, landscapes. I totally agree with what you said about taking these encounters as prompts into waking life, and I also wonder about the nature of the encounter itself in the dream. It feels to me like it’s an actual and profound socially connective event in and of itself too. I find this subject incredibly emotive, thanks so much for writing about it, I love that there is such current research being done in this too. Our sense of community needs ALL the encouragement it can get right now doesn’t it ?

I’ve been relying heavily on my dreams for insight and guidance in my relationships for almost 20 years. My dreams draw my attention to things I’ve overlooked, give me insight into motives and show me where there are wounds or needs that need to be tended to. I’ve been warned, chastised (constructively— we all need it now and then!) and guided. Without my dreams I would be utterly blind.

Your content on group dreaming is totally new to me. I’ve only developed dreaming within the context of personal/spiritual development. I look forward to delving into your material and hope my channels will be opened to new and good things!
